Caroline and Sigmund Schott Foundation (The)
A foundation whose mission is to develop and strengthen the movement for equity in education and child care.
Father Flanagan's Boys Home (Boys Town)
Services for children and families including: residential services, emergency shelter, family preservation, treatment foster care, and parenting classes in 13 states. Offers training to other child-care professionals, school districts, mental health facilities, and other organizations.
Federation for Children with Special Needs
Provides information, support, and assistance to parents of children with disabilities, their professional partners, and their communities.
Germaine Lawrence, Inc.
18 Claremont Avenue, Arlington, MA 02174 - Non-profit agency for adolescent girls. Various program specialties such as substance unit, younger adolescents, group homes.
Girls and Boys Town
A resource and referral service for troubled children and parents. Its hotline operates 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week with highly trained, professional operators. Also has emergency shelter services, a treatment foster care program, a family preservation program, and parent-training workshops.
National Assembly on School-Based Health Care
National Coalition to Abolish Corporal Punishment
An organization of parents, child advocates, and professional associations that seeks to have corporal punishment banned as a means of discipline in schools.
National School Board Association
Parents Advocacy League
As the statewide chapter of the Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health, PAL provides support, education, and advocacy around issues related to children's mental health.
Parents and Teachers Against Violence in Education
