FOSTER CARE
AARP-Grandparent Information Center
Targets grandparents raising grandchildren, professionals, support groups, researchers, and policy makers. Referrals to local support groups, technical assistance, newsletter, national calendar of events, conference, fact sheets, brochures and pamphlets.
Family to Family Initiative
A reform initiative including principles, strategies, and tools to confront the real problems faced by child welfare systems.
Lawyers for Children (NY)
Non-profit organization in NY dedicated to representing children in foster care. Provide free legal and social work services to children who are the subject of abuse, neglect, termination of parental rights, adoption, guardianship, paternity, custody and visitation proceedings.
Mass. Department of Social Services
Nat'l Resource Ctr for Foster Care & Permanency
Provides free and low-cost information, training and technical assistance aimed at improving the quality of foster care services and revitalizing permanency planning efforts.
U.S. Children's Bureau - US DHHS - AC&F
Assists states in the delivery of child welfare services - services designed to protect children and strengthen families.
