Community Trainings PDF Print E-mail

Shaken Baby Symposium

The Center has provided coordination of SBS prevention activities in Worcester County since 2002 and in Hampden County since 2006. It is also working with community agencies in Middlesex County and across the state to support SBS prevention education for local community professionals and the parents they serve. To date, hundreds of trainings reaching thousands of parents and professionals have been conducted and evaluations document that new knowledge and skills are being built.

Support to develop and deliver SBS prevention trainings and materials has come from numerous private funders including, Fallon Community Health Care, Hedge Funds Care, the The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, and the Irene E. and George A. Davis Foundation. We are grateful for their commitment to improving the lives of the children of our state.

For information about how to establish an SBS prevention training program in your community or for your organization, write to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by calling 617-742-8555 ext.3.
